A poetry slam

One of the ways I've coped with the madness of living in wartime is to throw my thoughts into paint or words. Over the past six years, I've gone public with some of my stuff, if anything just for confirmation that I'm not nuts in isolation. My mind has burned with so many thoughts that I've had a hard time trying to express myself rationally. I often revert to the imagery and emotion of arranged words as a means of release. Paint cannot be conveyed with any sense of accuracy here, and my work is not very accessible to some people. So here are some words that I have approached in the same manner as I paint. I respectfully submit some of these personal, and hopefully visual, statements of (in)sanity on this site for your scrutiny, some for the first time. Every one of these was connected to a vision of some horror, sadness or passion.

I invite you all to post your own words, or some belonging to others that have resonated with you as we endure the worst of times.
